So i'm hoping to go to Vanderbilt next year and I was curious about the different sororities there. I've looked at other threads so i'm not looking for anyone to say which sorority is tier 1/tier 2 etc. I just wanted to learn a little more of what they were all about.

For example:

Which sororities have the closest "sisterhood?"

Which sororities throw the biggest, most fun events?

If you could sum up each sorority in five words or less, what would they be?

Is there a "type" of girl that gravitates to a particular sorority?

All the sisters have close sisterhoods. You just need to find the one that feels best for you. If you’re ready to be really busy on campus and be a force there, it seems that adpi could be worth looking in to. They have won the “sorority of the year” several times over the last few years. Each has its own unique personality - so the find the one that matches you. They all have good parties and they all participate in philanthropy After the freshman rush hysteria is over, everything settles down and girls concentrate on forming friendships with the girls they are with. My daughter was a chi o and LOVED her friends there. My son’s girlfriend is a tri-delt and she’s very happy there. You just need to find what works for you. Use the first semester to observe their presences on campus - what matches your goals? At the end of the day, it’s about how you feel when you’re with those girls.

You have no idea how often this **** gets posted. It bores me to no end.

And hell no, the stereotypes are ********. There are minor attributes that are associated with some sororities that get blown way out of proportion.
