Uhg, I’m just beginning to imagine moving in for summer, then moving out, then moving back in. The things we do for college.

How long is the gap between summer and fall?

Summer classes start…june 28th, I believe, and end around the 7th of august. Oh what other individuals have stated, about a 2 week gap. I don’t have the option of staying down there. The dorms are closed, and while my cousin lives in Tampa with his girlfriend, I won’t intrude on them. I wish they could make some exceptions for out of state students-it’s going to be harshly stressful trying to get my items into a storage unit…

Maybe you will be fortunate enough to meet somebody during summer session who will lives in the area and will let you stay with them? Or if you meet another out of state student you can get a hotel and split the cost as long as it’s cheaper than a round trip plane ticket.

I never considered that option, actually. Maybe I’ll become close enough with my roommate…however, I’d feel awful, and don’t want to intrude on them, too. I’m crossing my fingers that they’ll allow me to move my stuff into my fall dorm, and allow them to lock the room behind. I’d be taking a plane back, so I’ll only be taking two bags with me. I have virtually no issue with a storage unit…I just have no insight on how to get everything there, I’ll have no car. Maybe my roommate will, and would be nice enough to help me out-I’d repay them for used gas, of course.
