I couldn't get much helpful response, and so I re-post it. Sorry!

Hi.

Until yesterday, I thought that electronical test score reporting system takes only a second to be done. But, when I checked today, they said it can take up to 2 weeks for colleges to get them! What the heck?!

I want to be considered as an early action appt., but I think there is very little possilbity that they will get the scores by Nov.1 if what college board says is true.

Is it really? I am getting really nervous cuz I sent my ACT scores to u of m, and when I called the office to see whether it was there or not, they said it wasn't!!!!!!!!

How long does it takes for colleges to get the scores sent electronically TODAY?
(Both ACT and SATs)

Process: (a) you go on-line and order scores; (b) ACT (or SAT) takes one or more days to process that request and when it does it puts your score into the secured on-line file that the university has with the testing agency; (c) sometime anywhere from a day to two weeks (but most less than that) – when this happens is entirely in the control of the university – that university will go into its account and downloads all the recent scores put in its account; (d) once it has done that it goes through the process of matching those scores to application files which can take anywhere from a day or two to a week or more (the latter if it is a rush time like right after an application deadline when many thousands of apps and then scores are received.

I sent my ACTS the 22nd of this month and my school recieved them the 26th. Today is the 28th, so you’ll be very lucky if they make it by Nov 1.
