<p>ok so i'm applying early decision and here's my stuff:
Academics: 4.180 GPA, class rank 2/60 (i go to a small private school), perfect attendance for 2 years. I took the ACT twice and got a 27 and a 30. I know that it is on the low end but I honestly feel like I did the best I could. For SAT subject tests i got a 700 on Math 1 and 740 on Bio E. I've also taken 5 years of German</p>
<p>Sports: I've been running cross country for 6 years, swimming for 3 years, did track for around 3 years. I'm pretty good at swimming but I don't plan on doing xc in college.</p>
<p>Music: ok so I started playing clarinet when i was in second grade and i have been taking lessons from a well known professor at Oberlin college for the past 3 years now. I play clarinet in concert band, french horn in marching and pep bands, tenor sax in jazz band, and piano and guitar on the side. For clarinet I have gone to every honors band possible and I got first chair at a state honors band last year. I also participate in the youth orchestra at Oberlin. Other than instrumental stuff I sing with the choir and have been in the school musicals the past 3 years but i will be playing in the pit this year....on (you guessed it) clarinet lol =D. I also plan on submitting a music supplement but does anyone know if I need an accompianist or not??? I will be playing Concertino by Weber and the third movement of Konzert by Stamitz.</p>
<p>I'm getting recommendations from my highschool biology, calculus, and religion teachers and i'm picking the 2 i like the best. I picked my religion teacher because she knows me more than any other teacher. I'm not worried about my school summary cause they love me lol. Also i know that Columbia is very big on uniqueness and I feel like my essay is VERY unique but I won't discuss it here because i don't want somebody to steal my idea >.<</p>
<p>soooo there's everything. But other than all those numbers and stuff I just feel like I'm a fun and crazy person and would be perfect for Columbia =) If you could give me my chances it would be greatly appreciated =) Danke!</p>
