I believe that I can get my GPA up to a 3.7 UW and a 3.85W by the end of JR year
My school is pretty top notch, and doesn’t allow underclassmen to take a ton of honors/ap courses
By the end of JR year I will have taken 6 Honors and 2 AP courses
Lowest Grades- Spanish II (B-) Art (B+) and Geometry Honors (B+)

Could you give me advice on what to do to get into BC?

could you give me some advice on how to get into bc?

i would say ur weighted GPA has to get alot higher
My unweighted is like a 3.36 but my weighted is like a 3.99.
Take some AP/IB classes

Since nobody else is really posting: You definitely need to get your GPA up, and I’m assuming because there isn’t a large difference between your UW GPA and your W GPA that you aren’t taking that many AP’s or honors classes (just saw the bottom part, ignore this), which I would recommend. Class rank is important and the top 25% isn’t really that wonderful to be frank.
Your ACT is good for a sophmore, but I would try and aim for 32-34 by the end of junior year.
Your EC’s look great, so keep those up.
As for other colleges, I wouldn’t get to caught up in browsing for them yet, leave that for the end of junior year. I went from wanting to go to Rice/UT as a freshman, to UMass as a sophmore, to Cornell/NEU/UConn as a junior, and to McGill as a senior-- and I’m going to Boston College.

BC is pretty tight lipped about the average admitted GPA though the consensus seems to be that it’s around a 3.6-3.8 UW. Currently your ACT is at the 25th%-tile so I’d consider trying the SAT or re-taking the ACT. Keep the upward trend during junior year and I think your chances improve significantly.

I disagree with pbbuff, I think the sooner you start to research and eliminate college choices the easier the final decisions will be.

Thanks guys. I have taken 1 honors class fresh year, 3 soph, and I plan to take 2 AP and 2 honors next year. The school I go to doesn’t allow fresh/soph to take a lot of honors and any AP courses
