Sorry guys!

I'm sorry that I haven't been checking in like I normally do. I've been busy as of late. I was recently hired by another television network, so now I'm producing shows, etc. for 2 TV networks at the same time. (Ugh, no sleep!) Plus, I'm organizing a couple of fundraisers here in NY to raise money for UVA and for a center for homeless kids in New York City. Once things die down, I'll be back.

If you've tried to IM me, I haven't been responding because my AIM has been messed up since my work computer was infected w/ a virus. Oh well, it's probably better this way - less distractions.

Lastly, for all those who are entering UVa as a first year/transfer student, I challenge you to make the most of your time at Mr. Jefferson's University. The University of Virginia is truly a special place. I wouldn't fight so hard for it, raise money for it, and stay involved with it if I didn't believe in it with all my heart.

WAHOOWA!!!

hey...how defend us in the transfer threat since there are a couple of uninformed individuals making the statement that UPenn is wayy better than UVA...now you and I both know this isn't true at all!

WAHOOEFFINGWA!!!!

Haha...I'd rather go to one of the best public schools in the country rather than one of the LOWER Ivies. Don't they realize that people think consider the rest of the league prestigious outside of Harvard, Yale, and Princeton because of the halo effect - because they're in the same "league" as HYP? Hello, it's just an athletic conference! (And a tragic one at that.) Twenty years ago, people always confused UPenn w/ Penn State. Probably, a lot of people still do.

As a member of the Yale Club of NY (UVa, Yale & Dartmouth share a clubhouse in NYC), I don't see a difference when it comes to success and intelligence among the alums of the 3 schools. The one difference though is that UVa has a reputation for having pretty girls. (I've heard that from both Yale & Dartmouth alums who try to sneak into UVa parties.) That said, UVa grads hold their own against Penn grads here in the Big Apple.

Furthermore, UPenn is located in a horrible part of Philly. They call the McDonald's there McDeath because of so many past shootings.

Don't get me wrong, Penn is a great school. It does have Wharton after all, but I would still choose UVA over Penn.

Oh well, gotta get back to work.
