Hi,

Has anyone (or anyone’s daughter) lived in or frequented a Plimpton D suite? I was fortunate enough to snag the biggest room in the suite and was wondering if anyone knew which side of the room the wardrobe was on. I heard that they protrude from the wall rather than being in the wall like they are in Elliott where I lived last year. I was just wondering if anyone knew this sort of info or knew where I could get this sort of information.

Any info would certainly be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Edit: Here’s a link to the floor plan if that would help anyone…

My d lived in a Plimpton suite and will do so again next year. She did NOT have the largest room, but it is my understanding that, at least on her floor, all the wardrobes were of the moveable kind (furniture, that is), not "closets" that are built in permanently. However, I do know that some of the upper floors at Plimpton have been rennovated, so these might be different. The main difference I know of in the rennovated suites is that the wall between the kitchen and common hallway is removed and replaced by a sort of bar or pass-through.

But, wow, that room will be AWESOME!!! It is HUGE!

Enjoy!

Thanks churchmusicmom! We're on the fifth floor, so I'm not sure if we snagged one of the renovated suites (although that would have been nice...). The fact that everything is moveable makes planning the space so much easier.

I was very fortunate to go into suite selection with some very kind suitemates who just offered me the room with no discussion because I was the only senior in the group. What great people I will be living with!

Oh, that is great! Have a wonderful senior year!!

I hope you enjoy living at Plimpton as much as my daughter does...
