South VS Pollock

What is better for freshman to live in? Pros and Cons of each? Or are they fairly similar.

Definitely Pollock. I don’t know if this plays a big factor for you but Pollock is known for its dining hall. Most freshman end up at East Halls or Pollock so you can get the full college experience if you choose Pollock. The freshman population at South is very small compared to the other halls. If you would rather study more than going out, choose South because it’s a lot quieter.

“Most freshman end up at East Halls or Pollock so you can get the full college experience if you choose Pollock.”
That’s a very confusing statement you made…
Are you saying you you can get the full college experience if you choose pollock or east or either ?

Sorry about that. Let me clarify… East Halls and Pollock Halls are the two biggest residence halls for first year students. If you choose either of the two, you will be surrounded by first year students that are in the exact same position as you. Everyone will be looking for friends so it will be extremely easy to find friends during your stay. Starting your first year at North, West, or South will make you have to work harder to find your friends.

Thats what I thought, I put Pollock as my 1st choice. Do you think it is likely i will get it?

Definitely…There are people that put things like South and West halls as their choices and still end up at East or Pollock.
