Hey I got accepted for Fall 12', and applied for a scholarship house provided by the Southern Scholarship Foundation. I have an interview this month. Just wondering, any advice on whether traditional dorm life is better than living in a scholarship house? I also chose North and East hall as my preferences on my housing contract, so now I must choose..

Thanks for advice and input!

I actually applied for that scholarship my freshman year because it was going to save me so much more money than living in a dorm. From my experience, I met more people in Broward even though I lived in Jennings so I guess it doesn’t really matter which dorm you’re living as long as you branch out and try to make new friends. I think the scholarship house is a better idea if you’re trying to save money.

I checked their website and when they say significant financial need is required to be eligible, how much do they mean? Like less than $100,000 or less than $50,000? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I’m new to the financial aspect of college
