Spa 108

I was just wondering I placed into SPA 108 through the placement test. Is that class difficult? I haven't taken a Spanish class in a year and a half and wasn't really that great to start off with. I'm actually surprised I got placed that high.

it's not that bad since most native speakers place out of the language requirement, as do students that have done well in AP. Even 207 is okay if you're not fluent. As soon as you get higher than that, many students in the class are native spanish speakers or are from countries that speak spanish, which make it intimidating. You can always drop down into a lower class if it seems to hard, but one semester of spanish is better than having to take 2

Thanks for the advice. I'm trying to use advanced standing, so I'm happy that I only have to take 1 class of Spanish rather than 2 or more, because that would take a lot of room in my schedule.
