Can somebody give me an idea of how much (or how little) space is in the Towers dorms? Can a microfridge fit somewhere or does it have to go under a bed? Do you have to bunk the beds? Can you fit in a small TV stand?

Towers is really not as small as everyone seems to think it is.

When my roommate and I lived in towers (not a wing, in the center section) we did not have our beds bunked, had a fridge and everything was fine. Some of the furniture was arranged a bit oddly but it really wasn’t that bad. Honestly my bedroom in Brottier might be smaller than my Towers room. (I’m in the smaller room of a 2 bedroom). You might be able to fit a tv stand, but my roommate and I had the tv on top of one of the desks I believe.

Thanks for the input, saatia. I believe that my daughter is in one of the wings - does that make a difference to the size or shape of the rooms? The two roommates really don’t want to bunk their beds if possible. Also, we were wondering about fitting the refrigerator issue.

Do you by any chance know where we can get a photo or floor plan (dimentions) of the dorms? We couldn’t find any on the virtual tour websites.

She should have been able to see what the room looked like when she did the lottery. They usually tell you the dimensions and show you where you will be on the floor. They used to have a floor plan on the website but do not anymore, so, no I don’t know where you can find one. I don’t think the wing and middle rooms were different…but I was only in a wing once or twice.

Thanks for the info. I guess she’ll just find out when she gets there!
