Spaces for UC App too small!?

Is it just me or does anyone else think the title and description spaces for the Activities section on the UC Apps are too small?

I'm currently filling it out and am getting worried that I might not be able to display myself the way I wanted..

Does anyone have advice or a resolve for this problem?

Does the UC app have an additional information section? If so, you could use that.

@intparent‌ No, I don’t think so.

Sorry, my kids didn’t do any UC apps. But maybe someone who has can make suggestions. If there is really no place else to put the info, then abbreviate as much as possible (realize that still might not get you where you want to go). But don’t feel any need for complete sentences.

@intparent Thanks for your advice :)

Any other advices would be very helpful too :)

There is an additional comment section that you can elaborate more on your activities (at least it was there last year).

If it’s that important to you you can always mention it in your essays. The adcom doesn’t even pay that much attention to the activities section besides just to note what you did and how long you did them for. Think of it this way, 99% of the applicants will have great ECs, the distinguishing factor between you and the rest of them will not lie in the ECs alone. So don’t stress about it.

I don’t think this is true at all. I think the ad coms do look at the EC sections, and they notice thing like awards and top performances, interesting or unusual ECs, or deep commitment ECs. Do your best to communicate via the awards section and the additional comment section if possible. I think it would be somewhat disruptive to the flow of the OP’s essays to just stick it in there.
