Spanish 3 for UCs

I am looking to go to a school like UCI. I do have 2 years of Spanish, and am not sure if I should continue for my third year (I am not that good at Spanish..). I am thinking about taking AP World History instead. If I have a 3.8 GPA (at the end of the year), and also have a lot of good extracurricular activities, ex:

Working in a team to build an app for my county's science fair program (also get community service hours for this)..

Programming and making apps since age 11.

LOTS of volunteer hours in senior center computer lab.

Taekwondo

Do you guys think I should take Spanish 3? I was also thinking to possibly take it at a community college.. I am not sure if I would need to take Spanish 2 or 3 though there (the requirements for Spanish 2 in my community college says it needs 2 years of a high school Spanish class. My question is, would Spanish 2 at a community college count as Spanish 3 to colleges during admission?

How does this look for UCI?

Thanks!

Yes, take spanish 3. Colleges want 3-4 years of foreign language. 2 years doesn’t meet the requirements. I would not recommend a college language course for you if you are not that good with Spanish. College courses, especially language courses, are very fast paced and you may not be able to keep up.
