I am choosing my classes for next year.
Is it really important for schools to see that you go all the way up to Spanish 4?

I don’t believe I’ve seen any schools with a four year/credit language requirement from high school. Most seem to have two, although a few prefer either two years of two different languages, or three years of one language. Look at the admission requirements for the colleges in which you are interested in applying. The info should be readily available on the school website, or google “admission requirements” and the name of the school.

Depending on where you are in high school, you might also consider taking foreign language through your community college. One semester will equal one high school credit. Many schools will also have this as an online class, so you can do it from home if you prefer.
