What kind of jobs are open to people majoring in Spanish and Chinese?
What schools are you guys going for this major too?

I'm not going for Spanish or Chinese, but folks majoring in these can teach in schools, particularly diverse city schools, study cultures, do anything relating to immigrant communities, or work in international business.

yeah i was thinking international business, but i dont know how the pay is. im ethnically chinese, so i dont know.. are there many spanish speaking chinese people out there doing work? i was thinking of picking up french too, something ive always wanted to learn, so maybe quadlingual...
im looking for something with a high pay... i dont want to be "kissing ass" either, so customer service is out of the question.

Vision, you can get two phD. from Harvard and make a big fortune just work for US government, a phD. in International Affairs, and another one Chinese History or Sinology, either of these would be fine, but no one ever did that before, because it is almost impossible:)

I speak Chinese and Spanish as well, and Tagalog (from living in the Philippines). I'm thinking of taking up Japanese or French next year which will be fun. We're in the same boat :)

There are lots of Hispanics/Latinos of Chinese extraction, especially in Brazil, Peru and Cuba. Most Latin American cities have a 'Barrio Chino'. You can do business with the Hispanic Chinese community.
