Spanish Clep test with 4 years of HS

I'm planning to take the Spanish Clep test in 2-3 weeks. I took 4 years of Spanish in High School. Every year I passed with a C. I was not the best student in high school but I think I remember a fair amount of Spanish. I have purchased the CLEP REA Spanish Language preparation book and I have started reading it. What are my chances of passing the exam (my school requires a 56 or higher)? I recently passed the Calculus Clep exam with a 76. The Calculus clep book was difficult and so were the practice tests; I was very surprised when I took the exam that it was so easy. Can I expect the spanish clep to be easier than the clep preparation book? I am going to read through this spanish clep book very thoroughly and I will take a lot of notes along with completing every exercise and correcting my mistakes. Will this book cover enough material so that I will not have to buy a spanish textbook? I also want to ensure that if I put in the time to complete this book that my efforts will not go to waste and I will score high. My goal is to complete 30 credits per semester and I have completed 23 credits so far. Would it be wiser to expend my effort towards another clep test like macroeconomics or General Biology? Thanks for the help. - I remember in highschool that it was very difficult to score high on the listening portion of the exam. Despite having better study habits now, I am very worried that I will still have difficulty with the listening portion. Any tips for acing the listening portion? I have already replaced my music with reggaeton and I plan to listen to it in the car and during my studies for the next three weeks.

In regards to the audio portion of the exam, I would search for a news station in Spanish (radio or television). Another foreign language candidate said they watched a bunch of movies in their foreign language, making sure they were understanding much of what was said. Have you looked through the CLEP practice test/study guide for the Spanish test? the REA series of test prep materials has gotten good reviews, but always check out CLEP’s material too.
