Spanish Curve

Hi all,

Just got my SAT2 results back, and I scored a 740 on the Spanish test (non-listening). I was a little surprised at this, as I'd been scoring 770-800s on the Kaplan practice tests, and I consider Spanish one of my best subjects. According to the chart on College Board's webpage my score is at the 73rd percentile, which is surprisingly low. Is the curve really that harsh from native speakers who take the exam, or am I just overestimating my command of the Spanish language?

I definitely echo your sentiments. I scored a 700 at the 61st percentile which is incredibly annoying. I took the AP this year and I’ve been taking Spanish seriously for 5 years. I think the native speakers made the curve difficult. I’m upset that I can’t see my answers though.
