I really love the spanish language and i was wondering if having a minor in spanish would be beneficial at all for any major in engineering? Also how heavy is the coursework for a minor in a language(or any minor)?
Thnx

Work depends by school, but sure spanish can be useful if you plan to work in the southwest or spanish-speaking areas meaning that you would be more qualified to send to more countries to work on projects that other workers would have difficulty doing. Also its good to know another language anyway so why not? If you can manage it on top of your major classes then go for it!

Sure Spanish is very useful for speaking to the production workers in major US cities that still have manufacturing. You don’t have to be in the southwest and you don’t have to leave the country.
