How are the Sparknote Powertactics for the SAT?

SAT Reasoning or SAT SUbject Tests?

I referred to the SAT Subject Test notes for sparksnotes. Their practice questions aren't that great and they constantly make errors in their computations and numbers.

As for the Reasoning exam, their study guide and tactics are like that of any other book. I dont see it any different from those offered in the princetonreview or kaplan. However, one good book is the official collegeboard guide - packed with 8 fulll practice exams. good stuff.

Is the information in the Sparknotes PowerTactics good though? I mean for like English and correcting mistakes?

i don't know anything about sparknotes, but i agree w/ blissfulangst that the official guide is really good. our school gave them to us free--it was the nicest thing they ever did. i think it's what saved me from getting like a 200 on the math section.
