Sparknotes & SAT2 WOrld History

I have used sparknotes to prepare my SAT2 U.S. history test, the test center is excellent because they even have repeated questions, but Sparknotes do not have tests or tests preparation for SAT2 World History,
the only book i have is Princeton and I am in despate of needing to review more about WOrld History(since i have not taken the AP classes)
I found there are notes of European History and the section called History Study Guides
<a href="http://www.sparknotes.com/history/#european%5B/url%5D">http://www.sparknotes.com/history/#european</a>
would they be useful in preparing the SAT2 test?
i think it is really detailed and we do not need to learn a lot of facts. but only I think, because i have not seen a real test,
any body take the test last year? what about the people who use Barron to prepare WOrld History? How are they different?

thanx

i don't think it's necessary. It's way too much and too detailed. You don't need that for the SAT. From what i heard, the actual questions are pretty general.

i'm thinking about sparkchart world history though(looking for super concise notes for reviews), but have no idea if it's any good. Anyone knows?

whatever you do, dont' use kaplan. i have that, and the tests are awful and completly unrepresentative of the questions on the real thing. i'd say go with Barrons SAT2, OR the AP world hist book from barrons.

???? I've been using kaplan all the while......... How would you compare the tests in kaplan to the real test?

they're much easier, and sometimes irrelevant. i can't remember specific examples right now, but there were some questions that you def can't prepare for in that book. do NOT buy kaplan.

Middle Eastern stuff will be far more valuable than Euro imo.

Which book would you recommend immajap?

what would you people consider a specific questions, the type of which appears often on the SAT II World?

go with Barrons SAT2, OR the AP world hist book from barrons.

what is the curve really like (12 wrong=800?) or 7 wrong = 800?

THe problem with Barrons is that its a really long and boring read .. doh.. kaplan seems to have small and short paragraphs..how's PR for world history?
