Special applications?

<p>I keep getting these "special applications" from various colleges... for example, Creighton and Tulane keeps sending special apps with waived fees, special consideration etc.</p>

<p>Do they send these out solely based on Collegeboard sata (test scores) or do they actually look at your HS records before they send out such links?</p>

<p>My kids got several of these from schools that had no access to their HS records, so I think it is solely test scores.</p>

<p>These applications can be good to use because they generally make it free to apply, but it really doesn’t mean anything in terms of getting accepted.</p>
