Specific textbooks questions

Don't expect to be able to get ISBNs from bookstores on campus, they have a policy they won't give it to you. =(

I've never had a problem getting the info. It would make for one hilarious argument if they refused.

Anyone know the ISBN's for Chem Lab 125/126 and Engr 100?

Guo, I found the calc book for $63.5, international version. Is that how much you paid for yours?

Did I not post the Engr 100 books on the previous page? The ISBNs are listed on those pages. As for Chem 125, I think it's just a lab manual you have to get at the bookstore.

I got mine for $58.

Wow...I got mine from amazon for 94.

"Here are the section 100 texts for Fall 2006:

Introduction to Engineering Programming: Solving Problems with Algorithms (Paperback)
by James Paul Holloway

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047...e=UTF8&s=books

and

MATLAB: An Introduction with Applications 2nd Edition (Paperback)
by Amos Gilat

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/047...e=UTF8&s=books"

chinaismine, I noticed that. At first I thought the 2nd one was for Engr 100 but when I did a search on http://umichigan.bkstore.com, it gave me this one for Engr 100: FINKELSTEIN, POCKET BK.OF TECH.WRITING F/EN

The author is obviously different, so it's probably a different book. How'd you find out the MATLAB is for Engr 100?

I found the calc book on Ebay for $58.79 shipped. 11 available, not a bad price if you need it.

Ah, I see what happened. First you asked for the Holloway Engr 101 book (who is teaching section 100, which is maybe where the confusion started) so I posted what you quoted above, which is a direct copy and paste from an email from Holloway. Now you're looking at Engr 100 instead of 101.

Wait.. should I start shopping for books? My schedule is http://mschedule.com/view.php?uniqname=stanf what books do I need for these?

chinaismine, Holloway told you to buy 2 books for Engr 101? I'm taking 101 in Fall and probably 100 in Winter, since Abe.com has a coupon code that takes $5 off $50, I might as well just get both right now.

MasterStan, it's not a bad idea to start shopping for books right now. http://umichigan.bkstore.com will tell you what books you need but you might have to search around to find the ISBN's.

Yes, that is part of an email he sent me.

is the site experiencing techinical problems, or is it me?
