Hi I'm a sophomore at a FL university majoring in Communication Science and Disorders, hoping to one day be a speech pathologist.

Here's what I've done so far:
Current GPA: 3.67
Volunteer 40+ hours: fed homeless, worked at a student run Pantry, played with disabled children, and a variety of activities
8 hours: volunteered at a alcohol free student ran event
Preschool: 18+ hours: played, watched, and assisted in caring for 3-4 year old children in a school setting.
Member of Pi Eta Sigma: Honor Society

Over the Christmas Break I have contacted a Rehab center in a hospital that I plan to observe volunteer at, aiming to get 25+ hours and I also have the opportunity to observe at a Nursing home during the break as well.

In the Spring I plan on doing research with a professor, in which I will be grading her results and assisting.

What advice can you give me to be a more competitive applicant?? If you are currently aspiring to be a speech pathologist or are one what did or are doing to help stand out. I feel like I'm not doing enough.
