<p>My school is doing "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" in the spring and auditions are coming up. I want to go for the part of Rona Lisa Peretti, but I can't seem to find a song that I feel encompasses her soprano range and comedic factor. Plus she also belts. I feel that none of my songs completely fit her. Anyone have any suggestions?? </p>

<p>For some reason, Diva’s Lament from Spamalot is coming to mind. It actually might be a bit belty a Rona audition, but it’s the first thing that popped in my head. </p>

<p>Both above are good suggestions, also possibly some things from The Apple Tree? It’s not contemporary but the female lead has a nice mix of belt and head a lot of the time. I know our Rona does “Gorgeous” a lot, but I don’t know if she did it for the actual Spelling Bee audition.</p>
