Spin off . . . Learning/Disability support in B.F.A. programs?

Another poster mentioned that she had heard that LIU Post has good disability/learning support services. Are there other B.F.A. programs that have a good reputation for this?

The University of the Arts does. I’ve been over-the-top impressed with the support there, from counseling (even certain counselors for honors students) to tutors for each course offered (even studio courses dance) and peer resident tutors who have open hours in the dorms (my D is one). They really push their support services and encourage every person, no matter what type of student, to seek help before they need it.

I’ve seen their level of help in my D’s and others’ experiences, and I’m amazed. I imagine the help offered to learning disabled students is incredible.

Myloves, that is great to hear because my son loved UArts.

Does anyone know about disability services at Point Park or Otterbein?
