SPOP and Stuff

So what do we do with our stuff when we go to SPOP the first day?

Like, do we have to lug it around all day in our backpacks, or will they let us put it somewhere before/during/after registration...?

For example, our clothes for the next day, linens, toiletries...?

Thanks, but the answer to my question isn’t on there…?

You’ll be able to put your stuff in your room! You’re def not carrying it all day. I can’t remember off of memory how long I had to carry stuff for though, I don’t remember it being a problem, but I just had a backpack anyways. But for some reason that schedule says check-in isn’t until 3:30.

I am sure you will drop of your belongings in a room/designated area. For those that have checked in a hotel-same thing.

just out of curiousity…who went to spop knowing absolutely no one?

Thats gonna be me! 8/4-8/5

I think the majority of people will not know anyone. Even if you decided to go to the same spop as your friends, you would rarely see them (since dorms/groups are randomly picked).

If they told you to bring your own linens, do you bring everything (beed sheets, comforters, towels)? That seems like it would take a lot of space.

You can bring a sleeping bag or sheets, pillow and towel. I wouldn’t bother with a comforter, it’s hot and the dorms aren’t air conditioned. Daughter is just bringing a couple of sheets, small pillow and towel that can all fit in her bag. Like others have said, I don’t expect there to be a whole lot of sleeping going on.

I just brought clothes, sleeping bag, and towels. Don’t really need sheets, just plop your sleeping bag on the mattress. Save some money.
