Ok I know this is a more superficial question, but how are Stevens extracurricular sports and Stevens’ workout gym? I’m an appointee to the Naval Academy, but I’m nearing a medical disqualification if the back pain I’m having gets worse and fitness opportunities are extremely important to me (how I keep sane… lol). I guess what I’m saying is that my biggest worry about Stevens is lack of physical opportunities.

Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
My D doesn’t attend (yet) but PE is required, lots of jogging paths, club sports, and because it’s D3, the possibility to join a varsity sport as a walk-on if you have a specific sport you have an ability at. I can’t find any great pictures of the rec center, and I read somewhere that the gym for varsity athletes is better than the one everyone can use. But again, no first-hand knowledge.

We recently took a tour and my son’s eyes lit up when we got to the athletics field. Its a beautiful turf field right on campus that is always available to students (when there is no varsity practice) and kept clear of snow in the winter. If he attends Stevens you can be sure he will be organizing daily pickup soccer games that all will be welcome to join!
My DS doesn’t attend yet, but was accepted early decision. When he toured he loved the athletic facility. The varsity athletes do have their own gym to use. Will most likely attend, play on a team, and study computer science.
