How much is William’s college’s social life about sports? If you’re not a sporty person will you fit in?

“fit in” is a really vague term, as I’m sure you realize. The great thing about college in general is that there’s no need to be the person that everyone in the whole school loves; all you need to do is find the people you like to hang out with and be friends with them.

With that being said, Williams has a lot of athletic people, so many people find friends through sports. However, it also has a lot of less athletic people who don’t necessarily love sports. As a result, people tend not to care whether or not you actually are on a sports team or work out regularly. Athleticism (or lack thereof) is, for the most part, just another facet of a person, a part of what makes that person who they are. Sports teams tend to throw parties, sure, but a) they’re non-exclusive by college rule, and b) there are plenty of parties and events organized by non-sports teams.

tl;dr: Williams social life isn’t dominated by your athlete/non-athlete status, and you’ll easily be able to find friends regardless of athletic ability.
