Sports/PE requirements

Do any colleges have them like I've heard boarding schools do?

Wake Forest has two health and exercise science classes that are required.

Rhodes requires 3 half-semester classes.

University of Chicago requires some PE (and you have to learn to swim).

Muhlenberg has a required gym/fitness curriculum.

Emory requires some PE classes as well.

Chicago’s PE requirements are killing me. I mean they certainly won’t stop me from attending, but I hate PE for about ten million reasons. At least learning to swim is useful (and thankfully, I can already swim).

MIT requires four PE classes and a swim test. Playing a varsity sport can substitute for PE.

Cornell requires a year (two semesters) of PE during your first year and a swim test.

Luckily, there are bunches of classes that satisfy that requirement, like tree climbing.
