spring 11 shedule (ib major)

Does this schedule seem too intense or is it pretty standard? I'm currently a second year. By the end of spring the only lower div I need to complete will be bio 1b (I tried to get into bio1b this semester, but it was full so then I signed up for bio1a, bought the books, but ended up dropping, so now I have all the bio1a stuff).

Bio1a/al
Stat 20
Phys8b
Music 26ac
(total 17 units)

Opinions/advice/suggestions?

I heard that bio1a/al is hell but I've already outlined half of the text for ap bio (it's no substitute but that work should be worth something right?). I'm somewhat worried about stats because I don't have much background in it. As for physics I'm doing ok in 8a so I figured 8b shouldn't be too awful if I don't slack off. And I've heard AC classes can be pretty writing intensive.

You should be fine. It looks like you’re on top of things. I’m surprised Bio 1B filled up before Bio 1A though.

How about Chem 1A (spring is easier), Bio 1B, and Math 16A (I’ve taken Calc BC so far). And an elective.

I would rethink the AC class unless you want a really busy semester. There is no reason to take 17 units really as an IB major unless you’re behind schedule (which you’re not) or plan on graduating early/studying abroad.

Music 26AC is notoriously easy. Don’t worry about that.
8B is pretty much nothing like 8A. That may be for better or worse.
This looks like a very good balanced schedule.
