Spring 2012 Grade Distribution Report

More fun with numbers. You can read all 404 pages or find courses that are of interest to you.

Potentially useful research–identify these profs:
Prof in Philosophy 101, section 2 gave 10.2% of his/her students A’s,
Prof in Philosophy 101, section 3 gave 48.1% of his/her students A’s

I had heard that other large publics publish this; guess it is more common than I thought…thanks for posting

I wish it was also available for summer classes. I requested it in a phone call to the registrar’s office last year but so far, no luck.

I am an international student, enthusiastic about UW Madison. Can someone tell me about their Spring Admissions, or give me a post referring to it?

Are you transferring (you have already completed 1 or more years of college) or are you a new Freshman?

Here is the email address for international admissions:

Edit:
From your other posts, I see that you are African, and your dream school was Penn. If you will be a transfer student to UW, you will need to have completed 24 credits (two semesters) of college before your intended start date. Thus, if you are enrolled in college (elsewhere) for Fall 2012, the earliest start date for UW would be Fall 2013 (not Spring 2013).

Maybe UWMadisonAdmiss has some helpful information for you. You can also email UW with your questions.

Actually, ultimately, Penn rejected me. If you check all the posts by me, you will see one where I start lamenting on how my SAT2 scores haven’t been sent on time. Ordinarily, I had a low chance with Penn, but not sending those scores must have lowered them even more. They were nice about it anyway. I graduated just last month from high school. At the moment, my life has restructured itself a bit and UW Madison seems like an excellent match. I want to join the Spring 2013 class as a UW Madison Freshman (international). I just dont know if it is possible. But I will check all your links extensively. Thanks
