<p>I don’t think so… someone did claim to me in a PM that they received a guaranteed transfer offer when they applied as a transfer applicant, which I could only imagine would happen if a school really liked you but you were missing prerequisite courses.</p>

<p>Apparently my high-school transcript got lost in the mail, so I had another one of those sent. I’m also hoping to have my midterm grades sent off by Friday.</p>

<p>I don’t know exactly, but all I know from research and previous years on this forum, is that decisions begin November 1st on a rolling basis</p>
<p>To be specific, on the 2012 spring transfer forum, there was someone who got their decision on November 1</p>
<p>I wonder how large their applicant pool was and how competitive for this Spring…</p>
<p>I think when you receive your applicant id the number at the end is your application number.</p>

<p>Since Cornell admits by College (and, by major, I assume for transfers) then the size of the applicant pool and the percentage accepted doesn’t really tell us a whole lot. Ironically, last year I think somewhere around 100 people applied for transfer admissions without indicating a college within Cornell–and were all denied.</p>
<p>The admissions letters seem to imply that are different admissions committees, so when one’s decision was realized would seem based on how many applicants that program had.</p>

<p>Had a family member send another copy of my high-school transcript via certified mail, return receipt requested earlier this week–sent my midterm grades today via the same. I just hope they receive everything by the November 1st “application withdrawn” deadline.</p>
<p>Actually, I emailed admissions to ask about the midterm report. They said the midterm report does not comply with the November 1st deadline. Meaning your application will not be dropped if they don’t receive by then.</p>
<p>ILR told me that admissions decisions will be given out late november through early/mid december, and usually ILR is one of the first, if not the first, to give out decisions.
Earlier decisions are most likely for special cases such as GT or clear admits.</p>
<p>Seriously that is disappointing. I was hoping for a decision from CALS in the first few days of November.</p>

<p>It was a bit odd. I had a second copy of my high-school transcript sent last Tuesday and I sent my midterm report last Friday. Today, I logged in and the entire check/x list was gone and had been replaced with the message I posted above.</p>
<p>For all who don’t understand what “Decisions are made on a rolling basis” means: this means that decisions are made as each application is read. You can expect your letter anywhere from the first of November through mid December. Once you receive the message
"Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review. "— Your application is being reviewed by the admission committee— You put in the work, its time to sit back and relax, don’t drive your self crazy. Enjoy the mystery of if and when and keep checking your mail. Best of luck to all!</p>
