Does anyone know if it’s harder or easier to get accepted into a school for the spring semester? I was told is was by someone who works with admissions at UCF, but I find that some what hard to believe if anything because it’s so competitive these days… I just can’t imagine dropping out of college within my first semester, I mean maybe after a year or so. If anyone knows and has an opinion, it would be much appreciated.</p>
<p>My son was just accepted for the Spring semester admission. Don’t know how common it is. Mayabe others can tell us. It’s a tough choice especially if it’s a small school which means you’ll likely miss the orientation and fall activities. I like to hear more stories too.</p>
<p>I would also ask if you are more likely to receive scholarship/fa $ in the fall than mid-year.</p>
<p>I don’t think any university scholarships are awarded for spring admission. I think they’re for fall admission.</p>

<p>As an entering freshman (applying for the Fall semester following your senior year of high school), you will need to send a completed application for admission, official high school transcript (grades 9-11), official ACT or SAT scores, application fee, and the completed scholarship section of the application for admission by December 1 of your senior year in high school. *</p>
<p>As for FA…Are you talking about Pell or Stafford loans? Those would be available for either spring or fall. </p>
<p>As for W/S, I know that schools tend to run out of W/S after awarding to their fall students.</p>
<p>My son did not receive any scholarship for Spring. I believe he was marginal that’s why the Spring admit.</p>
