Spring break go anywhere in the US and why?

Hi guys,

Basically my family is planning on taking a trip this spring break. Because it's my senior year they're letting me choose where to go. They said pretty much anywhere in the US will be fine (could go out of country, but only if it's the same cost as traveling in country). I live on the west coast, so a flight to Europe is too pricey. I want a place with lots to do.

I will be going to California next year for school and don't want to go there for break. I've been to Hawaii a few times and want to try somewhere new. In general, I don't want to go to the deep south.

We're considering New York (where I've never been). Any other suggestions of place to go and why?

Just went to New York yesterday. It’s fun if you find the right stuff to do.

Does Florida count as deep south? Dem beaches doe.

I’m not sure where else in the US could be fun. Mostly just NY, Jersey Shore, basically any East coast shore, but it might be too cold (unless you go to Florida)

When is your spring break? That’s is also a factor.

Disney world open during spring break. I’m going there this spring break.

sorry for double post

Colorado? NM?

Arizona! Beautiful!

My spring break’s the first week of April. I don’t really want to spend the whole break at beaches…

what’s there to do in Colorado/NM/AZ?

Skiing, Grand Canyon, also ghost valley seems like a pretty cool place to see.

grand canyon? chicago?

DC, if you’re a history buff!

Colorado is also beautiful<3

Don’t come to Chicago in April folks it not warm enough for ya… My break on the 2nd week of april.
