Best spring break road trip??

I know spring break is months away, but hey, it doesn't hurt to start planning! Can anyone points out a cool route for my spring break road trip. I am at one of the Midwest public college.

Thanks!

Panama City in Florida is a lot of fun.

Really, anywhere along the Florida coast would be a great trip. Destin (1 hour from Panama City and about 20 minutes from Ft. Walton) has some of the most gorgeous beaches I’ve ever seen. The water is crystal clear, and the beach is buzzing with activity during Spring Break.

The best places to go for spring break are the places no one goes to for spring break. :)

My best friend and I plan on hitting up the east coast. Choosing between getting drunk on the beach verses strolling on the Upper East Side seems like a no brainer to me.

My friend and I went to Chicago last year, I guess the best place just sort of depends on what you like to do. I HATE beaches.

That friend, though, would probably endorse the Panama City suggestion. She went another year with a huge group of people and had a lot of fun.

I feel the same, but I think we have opposite preferences.

I’m not big on road trips, it costs a lot of money which I do not have. But if I could, I would really like to visit a state I’ve never been to or go to a national park. Or hit up some museums and art galleries in the Northwest. I’m not big on partying or drinking, so I probably wouldn’t enjoy going to places where that would be the main idea.

If you might want to do something like I would plan, check out some big touristy spots in your area and make a list of what you want/and can see in that time frame. It might be a city, a list of cities, or cool/weird places. And if you still want to party too, you’ll probably be able to find a place that has that on your journey.

Yiehtk, that was how my friend and I ended up in Chicago. Though that wasn’t a cheap trip it was only a couple hours away and had lots of touristy fun things for us to do-- and plenty of restaurants and clubs, as well. We’d never been there and loved it. Given that I am not huge into partying that was an awesome middle ground for us.

Texas. Barbecue + Girls + Shooting + Keggers = EPIC.

The beach sounds like a party to me!

i want to go to south padre island this spring break, its the bomb.
