I was wondering if anyone had any information or opinions on the relative transfer sucess rates at NYU , specifically CAS, in the spring vs. the fall. I am going to be applying for the sping of '08, but was wondering if the relatively low transfer acceptance rate for this fall coupled with large acceptance rates from general admission make spring transfer less likely? Also, does anyone have any spring transfer experience or advice (regardless of their school)
THanks for the help,

ttt for some help

Spring is apparently easier...

This year may be an exception though, as several fall CAS transfer applicants were referred to study abroad and begin NYU (main campus) in the spring. This could limit the spaces available in the spring, depending on how many accepted this referral option.

If it were me, I would still apply in the spring. Next fall could be even harder.
