Spring housing

I was accepted for the spring 2014 semester, and I have a few questions on housing.

How will I go about choosing a dorm?

Will I be at a disadvantage in terms of availability or roommates?

I will only have to pay for the spring semester, and not the whole year?

All info helps, I'm sure I'll think of more questions.

Hi Reckie! My name is Rob and I’m a Binghamton University Student Ambassador.

If you choose to attend in the Spring, then you will receive more information about housing sign-ups when it gets closer to that semester. You will sign up at a later date then fall students. There will still be rooms available in all communities. You will either be placed in a room with a student that has attended since the fall that has a vacancy for whatever reason, or you will be placed in a room with another transfer student or freshman admitted for the spring. You will only have to pay for the semesters in which you are housed at the university (so only the spring this upcoming academic year).

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
