Spring semester

Hello, I'm going to be graduating high school in December 2012, so I was wondering if if would be better for me to apply to Rice right now for the spring semester, or wait and go in Fall 2013. I do not want to take classes at a community college, and I am also interested in other colleges as well. But, I kind of just want to go straight into it, to get it all over with, and my parents really aren't any help either, they're just trying to rush me off to school. I really just want to know what the differences would be between Spring 2013 and Fall 2013. Thank you soo so much for your help in advance :)

I think it would be best to contact Rice admissions directly for this question. I don’t know if they do mid-year admissions. Taking a gap semester isn’t necessarily a bad thing :-).

You can only apply for fall admission. Rice did away with spring matriculation a few years ago. So the difference is pretty simple: you only have one choice.
