<p>What kind of transportation will you have on-campus? Car? Bike? Scooter?</p>
<p>rite now im thinking of leavin my car n miami…cause i heard parking is terrible..so ill b on foot</p>
<p>Whether you decide to take your car or not, make sure you get a bike!</p>

<p>As a transfer it is very difficult to get on campus housing. There are many, many off campus options that are literally within two blocks of UF. The closer to UF and nicer the apartment…the more costly it will be. There are many apartments available and coming available for January rental. </p>

<p>I would call housing to see what they have available. Generally there is always space available somewhere to be filled. I would pick Murphree or Springs, but those are also popular. I do know that people who moved into Murphree in spring of last year, so its possible. </p>

<p>Its not that bad. I use to walk every where. However took the bus to Lakeside/Microbiology area.</p>
<p>I walk and bus everywhere. If you’re living in Lakeside, however, I’d get a bike or something.</p>
<p>It is very hard to get somewhere on-campus as a transfer, and I’d imagine more so in the spring.</p>

<p>Yes you can walk but it’s easier to get around quickly on campus with a bike. The best investment I made while going to school there was the purchase of a mountain bike.</p>
<p>I lived at Beaty Towers not a long time ago. It was very nice, and Tom Petty may have written a song about it called “American Girl”.</p>
