SPS and Unionleader article

There is an article in the Unionleader re: a SPS teacher.
A while back there was a posting by a parent who's D. accused a teacher of something or other. Do you think this is what the parent was talking about?
Regardless the teacher is marked for life.

Doubt if it’s the same situation. These schools don’t involve the police lightly though, so they must have had a compelling reason.

This is really a bit ridiculous.
He is the nicest old man.

Don’t know any of the details of this story, but even “nice old men” faculty members at boarding schools have it drilled it to them to never be alone in a residence with a female student. If you’re on dorm, leave the door open to the hallway; if you’re not, tutor in the library where there are people around.

From what I’ve read and heard from the BS’s I’ve visited it seems like a normal thing to go to a teachers residence for tutoring.

I received an email from the school today addressing the incident and I was very pleased that they were communicating with parents about the matter. They did not provide details about the incident, but the letter certainly allowed for parents to contact the Rector if they wanted more information.
