i made it to these schools and i'm wondering what there is to do at these schools. I understand they are the top prep schools but i'm also concerned about what there is to do out of campus. Are there places to walk to directly out of campus. Like i know for andover there is a small town and you can order like chinese food. I'm not sure for the other schools though... Anyways i'm just wondering what i can do at these schools, especially sps and Lville because my sister went to andover. Heres a more specific list: are there places to order food for delivery at these schools. Are there towns we can go to by bus or foot? Is the gym open all day? ARe there "big" cities we can visit at these schools?

Also note: My sister went to andover and now i don't really want to go there. She has a bad reputation...
I am equally interested in sps and Lville.
I'm a basketball and football fanatic
I like to have fun!
i am applying as a 10th grader

I’ve toured and applied at Andover and SPS (and did not have such favorable results as you), and have had no experience with Lville.
It all depends on the person I guess but personally I think Andover is my favorite prep school. It reminds me so much of Harvard’s campus. You really can’t go wrong there; such a variety of people attend it, the athletics are unmatched (except by perhaps exeter?) and it has amazing academics. It seems basically like exeter but a lot more fun.

If you’re main concern about attending there is your sibling, I would not take that in consideration. If you’re going into tenth, and she’s your older sibling, she’ll probably be graduating soon anyways. Theres a new batch of people every year, even in upper year they add like 40 people I think. You obviously can’t go wrong with any of the schools, but Andover’s prestige, academics, athletics, campus and easy accesibility to Andover and Boston in my opinion make it the superior choice.

I agree with you one hundred percent. Andover was originally my first choice no doubt… but personally i hate following the foot steps of my family. I’m the one who loves to take chances and a different road. Also, my older sibling was actually on probation, and I really don’t want to start school with that sort of reputation. It’s a pain, but Im actually leaning towards other school because of her.
