What an inevitable reply! Did I state I thought it was unique to junior tennis and squash? Or, were you thinking it is unique and you are looking for confirmation from me?
Seems to me the best sport a kid can play is the sport the kid wants to play-except for those with high rates of cranial insults (closed head injuries-smacks, etc).
@CADREAMIN Ended up winning doubles and losing finals. I drank a ton of pedialyte but to no avail. I was throwing up and couldn’t hold water down during the final. 2-6 3-6.
@infomom909 - Friend of a friend who was a blue chip tennis recruit (currently plays for UCLA and recently won the NCAA men’s singles championship) started playing tennis at age 1.5. Yes, some kids start that young.
