<p>Does anyone have any experience with Squaw Valley Academy? It's a small college prep school in Olympic Valley (Lake Tahoe). Looks like an excellent school for a kid who needs individual attention (like my son :)). I'm thinking about having him go there for summer school. (During the school year, if the student's work is current, they can ski/snowboard daily!) Thanks for any words of wisdom.</p>

<p>Somemom-- can you please ask your friend about the teachers? Specifically, how muchturnover there is (if any), and how caring, helpful, and knowlegable they are. For example, a teacher can be qualified to teach agiven subject, but in fact be a lousy teacher. (We are experiencing this at our son's school currently.) Thanks!
