Sr. Classes

So, I'm trying to finalize my schedule for next year, but am having problems making decisions. I go to a really small school (I'm in a class of 40), so no AP's or Honors offered.

My issue is this: I hate math, with a passion. I'm not terrible at it, but I HATE it.

I've taken Alg I, II, and III. Is Trig/PreCalc really nessecary?

I'm sure I'll get a B or B+ in it. (My alternative to it is digital media concepts, which i could easily get an A in)

Is it worth the hit on my GPA (currently a 4.87)?

Also- Sociology or Mass Media?

Here's what I've got thus far:
Band
Eng IV
Psych
Sociology (1st sem.)
Journalism (2nd sem.)
Accounting II
German III
Trig/PreCalc
Yearbook(only option for that hr.)

I could replace Psych with Anatomy/Phys., would that be wise (I'll already have three yrs. or lab sci)?

For college, I'm looking at UChicago, Vanderbilt, WUSTL, or Butler, Lake Forest, and Sewanee if the ACT scores come back not so hot, with a possible major in Int'l Relations, Art History, or Anthropology

Thanks!

How do you have above a 4.0 if you don't have AP or honors classes at your school...

I think the OP's school uses the 5.0 unweighted scale. Most likely, he or she is from the East Coast. Usually, the west coast and mid west use the usual 4.0 GPA scale.

Sorry, I should've clarified. My school does use an unweighted 5.0 scale.

Anyone have an idea?
