SSAT book recommendation

Hi all,

I consider buying a SSAT book on Amazon. Since my budget is tight and I have little time left, I would really appreciate your recommendation. I am particularly concerned with:
-Pros and cons, if any, with the book(s) you recommend
-Does any particular book have an edge in Math or Verbal?

Thank you for your help.

Many people on this board are happy with the Princeton Review. Someone posted this website http://www.testprepreview.com/ssat_practice.htm which is supposed to have free old SSAT tests. If you search for "SSAT" on this forum, you will find some good information. You can also go to the SSAT website every day to answer their analogy question.

I have the Princeton Review book and it's working well for me. They give you a lesson plan of 12 lessons that you should follow. They also give you a good list of vocabulary and roots. You can get it on Amazon for about $13 or less.

Princeton Review is working really well for me.

Yeah, i've Princeton Review as well. I'm thinking of buying Barron's though. Is it good?

If it's not, i recommend Princeton.

Kaplan's decent. I got pretty good scores from that alone...
