I'm applying to St. Marks, Concord Academy, and Middlesex. There averages are as follows-
St. Marks- 82%. Concord Academy-80%, Middlesex-87%. I'm applying for FA and day student.

My recs i knows are really good, and i have decent EC's. My essay is really creative and original, and i have all A's and a couple A-'s.
Let it be noted that I applied to Middlesex last year and got rejected. Will this improve my chances?

I know I am an underrepresented minority

I am applying for 10th grade.
Which schools do i have chances at if any? Are these schools too much of a reach, are they just in my range, or are they more like safeties for me? Should I retake the SSAT?

Don’t worry too much about the SSAT. Having an average of 82, 80, and 87% means that there are some people who got in with scores higher than 87 (Middlesex) and some that got in with a lower score than 87. Also, it depends how competitive your current school is.
As for your question about applying for the second year, it will not in any way increase your chances.

The fact that you are an underrepresented minority is good and your SSAT score is okay. Your grades are an A average and you said you have good ECs and that is what the schools are looking for. Do have any athletics, will your teachers give you good recommendations, and can you have great essays?
