Purchase the book from the SSAT corporation and take the test in "test situation". timed, in a quiet room -- try to be serious and do the best you can. Then -- see where your weaknesses are. If you scored well in vocabulary and struggled in math, it doesn't make much sense to spend time studying vocabulary -- your time would be better spent on studying math. You need to see where you time can best be spent for you, personally.

There are several prep books out there -- purchase one or two and work through them.

If your parents can afford it, consider hiring a tutor with experience in tutoring for the SSAT -- the money may be well spent if the tutor can zero in on your weaknesses.

get the books, (princeton review and kaplan) and take a couple practice test. other then that.....cross your fingers. :)
