I just looked at my scores online! Overall I am just about where I expected to be. My reading score is way higher than I expected, yay! However my math score is WAY lower than I expected bring my average score down a lot. Do schools look at each individual category or just overall score? I don’t think it’s a bad thing to be low in one section, my tests scores just show my strengths and weaknesses. Thoughts?
The schools look at each section, and also the total percentile. It gives the AO a chance to see, like what you said, your strengths and weaknesses. For me, I received a really good score for quantitative, but below 50 for reading. So I guess it’s always good to be strong on all parts, but it won’t kill you if you don’t.
