i’m taking the ssat again but i still don’t understand how exactly do you prepare for it? is the official ssat guide book enough? can i find like a syllabus or a list of things i need to know for the ssat?? what and where do i study for the vocabs? just how can i prepare in general and know what to study
We bought the online ssat.org test prep packed through ssat.org (not an outside company). They have many quick and full tests to work through. We found that pretty complete to get my son’s math up and it worked out in the end with a good score. Without it, I do not think his math would have been as solid as it ended up being.
Package, not packed.
There are many discussions on this topic and older threads. Our experience was that the online SSAT practice tests from SSAT.org was really helpful. Also, had a Princeton review book - the outline on how to approach different types of Verbal items was helpful. Practice pacing yourself on Reading.
