My daughter still waiting to hear, too. Biology, applied late Nov.

Hey there, My son applied around the same time and he has only just received his unconditional offer for Biology. He got his offer around 10 days ago. He just accepted his offer and is thrilled as are we! Keep the faith!

I emailed St. Andrews and they said everyone in the US should be hearing back by May 1st!!
May 1st deadline coming up and still no word. I emailed them last week and they assured me they’d give me a decision by the deadline, but I’m still so nervous that my application will get lost in the process. My parents want me to commit to NYU, but I still want to hold out until I hear from St. Andrews as they are my top choice. Anyone hear what day the last batch will be coming out?
I’m sorry! That’s so frustrating for you. I believe they try to give the US students their decision prior to May 1 but there doesn’t seem to be a definite end date listed. It could be after a May 1.
We recommend that you reply to your offer by the following:
- 31 May, if you have an offer by 31 March
- 3 June, if you get an offer between 1 April and 6 May
- 17 June, if you get an offer between 7 May and 3 June
- If you get an offer after 3 June, you will have 14 days to respond.
Worst case you’ll have to deposit at NYU if you don’t hear before May 1.
